Sleeping Accommodations

Floor space

Sleeping at Diana Tomchick and Bill Steele’s house is welcome by calling ahead and reserving space.  Area cavers will also be at their house for the party on Friday night and some will offer floor space in their homes.  However, the Dallas/Ft. Worth area Metroplex is large, and no other cavers live nearby.  You will need your own bedding.

Tent camping

Diana and Bill have a large, secluded backyard, and you are welcome to bring your own tent to camp.  You will need to be self-contained.

Motels

The Friday party location (Diana and Bill’s), the Saturday BOG meeting place, and Saturday night Texas BBQ restaurant are all within five miles of the south exit of the DFW Airport.  There are more than a dozen motels within three miles of the south exit of the airport, all along Hwy. 183.
